When I was looking for a home based job I considered various ideas and searched high and low on the internet racking my brains 
wondering what to do. There was information overload and before long I was feeling that I would never find the home based job I was seeking, until one day while trawling the internet I came across someone called Mark Ling.
Who is he?
Mark is now a well known super affiliate marketer at the top of his game in the marketing world, but he had to start somewhere so I did a lot of research on him.
Mark was looking for a home based job himself while studying at University in New Zealand in 1999 so he with his friend Charlie started a basic Geocities site where they sent people to a website selling posters.
Mark quickly realised an opportunity existed to start making some money by building a handful of sites selling posters and making a small profit from them. He quickly learned how to build his sites faster and targeting a larger market, was soon raking in the money.
He decided to hire a few friends and rented a house setting up a number of computers and started building websites between them. This home based job they started was growing quickly into a steady online business.
They learned the methods of search engines and how to drive traffic to their sites. They continued to replicate the success and before long Mark was at the top of a growing industry.

Recent Successes
Since those early days mark has moved on and developed many affiliate websites in subjects as diverse as dog training, language learning, video gaming and a whole lot more.
He has learned to master techniques used by marketers to drive business his way by using tools such as Adwords and Social media sites like Youtube to name a few.
Today, Mark continues developing his own sites but has also turned towards sharing his secrets of success with people like you and me.
In 2008 he launched Affiloblueprint a 12 weekly guide to help marketers develop a long term marketing strategy. Recently he launched Affilorama his site containing blogs, webinars and presentation videos alongside many free tools he has developed to help marketers succeed.
He developed Traffic Travis the SEO and PPC research tool which is available as a free download with a premium paid version for the experts. Mark has used his experience and know how to give presentations around the globe to affiliate marketers who value his ideas.
What started as a home based job has turned into a thriving business pulling in millions of dollars every year. He certainly inspired me to follow in his footsteps and after taking those first faltering steps I aim to catch him up.
